– Mission : A mission is an action plan to achieve your vision. It is specific and concrete. It answers the question, “How do we get there?”

– Core Values : Core values are the principles that will guide your leadership. They represent the foundation of your mission. They are what make you different from others. They are the things that make you unique.

Assertiveness is often misunderstood, even in the business world. People expect assertive behavior to be aggressive and loud. It isn’t! Assertiveness doesn’t mean being brash, or dominating, or angry. Rather, assertiveness in leadership is about the ability to convey that you have strong feelings and opinions without being disrespectful or intimidating. b. Active – this is a type of assertiveness in which you take action on your own behalf and stand up for yourself. It is also considered a more mature form of assertiveness because it shows responsibility and courage.This type of assertiveness can help a person avoid problems, solve problems, get things done, and achieve goals.

c. Passive-Aggressive – this is a type of assertiveness in which you take action on your own behalf and stand up for yourself, but you are being mean or sneaky about it. This may be the most common type of assertiveness. People who use this type of assertiveness may get hurt by others who do not understand their passive-aggressive behavior. Passive-Aggressive people need to find someone who will be their advocate.

In conclusion, assertiveness is important for leadership because it gives us the confidence to know who we are and where we fit in the world. Without assertiveness, we will be less confident in our abilities, and ultimately, we will feel uncomfortable in our role in life. This can negatively impact the success of others because we’ll be more likely to try to control them instead of lead them.
